Collection: Non- Superwash Yarn
J. California
Our J. California bases are named after the author and playwright J. California Cooper. I remember listening to In Search of Satisfaction with my mom on my way to school. Her words were mesmerizing, and it just furthered my love of the written word.
These bases are delightfully sheepy and squishy. They'll be perfect for shawls, sweaters, and colorwork projects.
I have been wanting to find a base that it is at a more affordable price point, that did not sacrifice the yardage that usually comes with a lot of hand dyed yarn. My hope was to find a base that could priced so that a sweater could be made under $100.

Sojourner
Sojourner is named after Sojourner Truth. She spoke throughout the Hudson Valley, advocating for the rights of black people and the rights of women. There is no other fitting name for this base .
Sojourner Sock is a non-superwash fingering weight yarn. It is 60% US Sourced Merino Wool, 30% Romney that is sourced locally in New York, and 10% Nylon. Each skein is 400 yds / 100g per skein. It is wonderfully soft and but still maintains that rustic quality.
